About Dr. Reggie VanderVeen

Dr. Michael H. “Reggie” VanderVeen brings a wealth of experience and dedication to the field of dentistry. His journey began at the University of Detroit, where he completed his undergraduate studies in Chemistry and Biology, followed by earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry.

Education and Professional Development

After graduating, Dr. VanderVeen established his practice in the Grand Rapids area, where he served patients for 30 years. His commitment to excellence in dentistry led him to pursue additional education, including completing the Executive Management Program for Dentists at the Kellogg School of Management in 2006.

Professional Leadership and Service

Throughout his career, Dr. VanderVeen has been actively involved in numerous professional organizations, including:

  • American College of Dentists (Fellow)

Dr. VanderVeen has been married to his wife Gayle for over 41 years. Together, they recently celebrated the joy of becoming grandparents. When not involved in professional activities, he enjoys spending time with family, golfing, and sharing his extensive knowledge with the next generation of dental professionals.
